We built Echobills to help you — not to harvest your information. Here's exactly what happens with your data.
What we collect
- Email address — for your account, login, and transactional emails.
- Subscription data — names, amounts, billing dates you enter or import.
- Receipt images — if you choose to upload them.
- Usage analytics — anonymous page views and feature usage via Plausible (cookie-free).
What we don't collect
- We never sell your data to third parties. Ever.
- We don't track you across other websites.
- We don't store payment card details — Polar handles all billing.
- We don't use your data for advertising.
How we protect it
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Database hosted on Convex with secure access control.
- Authentication via Auth.js with secure session tokens.
- Regular security reviews and dependency audits.
Deletion & control
- Delete your account anytime from Settings — all data is permanently removed.
- Export your data (CSV, JSON) before deleting.
- We retain anonymized analytics data only (no personally identifiable info).
- Email us and we'll handle any data request within 48 hours.
